For three weekends, the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire turns the rustic village atmosphere of Marriott-Slaterville (just west of Ogden) into a fully immersive world of food, merchandise and entertainment. Thrill to the Knights of Mayhem as they show off real heavy jousting; enjoy wandering musicians and magicians; witness acrobatic swordplay; let the kids have fun with the Pack and Pounce petting zoo. More than 80 merchants, both local and visiting, offer crafts and wearable art, plus plenty of period food and drink.
