Who Will Step Up?

My generation chanted, “Make love, not war” and “Give peace a chance.” We rebelled against the status quo and questioned authority. We were going to change the world. The hippie movement blossomed, then wilted. Did we give in to the pressures of life (beliefs, politics, family and society)?

Every generation can spark the flame of equality until there is a generation that will sustain the flame of equality and end poverty.

Spark the flame of equality by thinking, “Just because it is, doesn’t mean it should be.” This would be a good start.

Which generation will change the world?
