According to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), Vertical Diner's "breaded chicken sandwich" has the right stuff. --- PETA named Vertical's faux-chicken sandwich one of the Top 10 such sandwiches in the U.S., putting them in company with the likes of New York City's Red Bamboo, Veggie Grill in Orange County, Foodswings in Brooklyn and Akron's VegiTerranean, owned by Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.

The Vertical Diner breaded chicken sandwich is made with soy chicken and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and Vertical sauce. It comes on your choice of French bread, 7-grain bread or a tortilla wrap.
