What’s new this weekend:
Sanctuary (SyFy, tonight) Season Finale: Meanwhile, on a SyFy series that actually has some viewers, ex-Stargate SG-1 (you know, the fun one) star Amanda Tapping closes out Season 3 of her inexplicably popular supernatural/fantasy series by leading her team into a hidden underground city and—says here—certain death. Have no fear, Tap-heads: Since Sanctuary costs about $100 an episode to shoot (it’s almost entirely green-screen; no locations) and SyFy has canceled everything else, it’ll be back next year.

Supernanny (ABC); What Not to Wear (TLC); Law & Order: UK (BBC America); The Soup (E!)

Ricky Gervais: Out of England 2 (HBO, Saturday) Back for his second stand-up special (hence the title), Ricky Gervais spouts off about fat people, gay people, stupid people—basically, American people. Try not to be distracted by his new Hulk Hogan-like physique.

Saturday Night Live (NBC) Jeff Bridges (Tron: Legacy) hosts; Eminem and Lil’ Wayne struggle for hip-hop relevance.

Survivor: Nicaragua (CBS, Sunday) 3-Hour Season Finale: I thought for sure crazy old bat Jane was going to win, but she was voted off Wednesday in a clusterfuck triple-cross, leaving five players who are only still in the game through sheer luck—all of the good ones have been sent home, so who cares? Give it to Fabio; he’s earned it just by tolerating that nickname.

Leverage (TNT, Sunday) 2-Hour Season Finale: Nate’s old nemesis Moreau (Goran Visjinc) is back, and the team has to break into a Department of Defense lab to stop him from killing a brilliant engineer and selling her work to less-brilliant terrorists. Oh, and remember guest-star Elisabetta Canalis (George Clooney’s model/actress girlfriend) from way back in the beginning of this season? She’s back, impossible legs, impossible-er Italian accent and all.
