What better way to spend a humpday than chilling with a bird of prey?---

Every Wednesday, the Ogden Nature Center hosts a kid-friendly "Wild Wednesday," and today they're getting "wild about ravens," with a discussion about the birds from an expert. Show up around 3:30 p.m., and you can meet Cronk, the ONC's resident real raven, live in the flesh. Or feather. Whatever.

You grownups might prefer visiting the Art Access gallery for its killer new show, Driven from the State: An Exhibit of Art and Ideas (pictured), that was designed to address the hot immigration issue before the Utah Legislature starts its latest round of xenophobic idiocy. And Faces, at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, brings together classic works of Pop Art from the UMFA's permanent collection.

At you barflies can always hit the Geeks Who Drink throwdown at the Piper Down tonight. Afterword, consider a jaunt to The Urban Lounge for a fine lineup that includes The Awful Truth, David Williams, Nick Neihart and Poor Wills
