On Thursday, May 19, Log Haven restaurant will host their annual "Meet the Makers" event, encouraging you to meet and chat with some of Utah's finest local producers --- in an informal setting. The event is from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public. At Meet the Makers, guests will be treated to samples from Beehive Cheese Company, Creminelli Fine Meats, Eco Fruits, Summit County Beef and Kenyon Organics. Chef Dave Jones will team up with Summit County Beef and provide passed beef sliders.
The cost for Meet the Makers if $5 per person. Kiler Grove Winegrowers - Utah's urban winery - will also be on hand with samples (optional) for an additional cost. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the restaurant at 801-272-8255.
