The State Room hosts an incredibly talented songwriter and musician tonight in Darrell Scott, who is taking a pause from his temporary gig as part of Robert Plant's Band of Joy to do his own show, and he's bringing his brothers as his backing musicians. Should be a fine show.---

At Brewvies, catch up with True TV's Bill Frost and the latest editions of Louie and Wilfred on the big screen at 8 p.m. 

The King's English welcomes award-winning author Craig Johnson, who will be reading from and signing Hell is Empty, the seventh book in his mystery series featuring Sheriff Walt Longmire. The event starts at 7 p.m.

Toad the Wet Sprocket plays at the Gallivan Center at 7 p.m., and one-time Utahn Erin Barra headlines a free show at the Newpark Town Center in Kimball Junction.
