Chili Cookoff Wednesday to Benefit Road Home Shelter



Chili aficionados can rejoice Wednesday and sample some tasty chili concoctions while helping to support the Road Home nonprofit shelter.---

Get your bean on Wednesday for the Great Salt Lake Chili Affair, where local eateries ranging from Sage’s Diner to the New Yorker to the Red Iguana will be offering bowl after bowl of deliciousness to patrons. The event will also feature great salads, desserts and a silent auction. Tickets run $42 for an individual to $300 for a table of eight, with all proceeds going to benefit the Road Home shelter.

Check it out, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Salt Palace Convention Center, 100 S. West Temple.
