The death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin has sparked national outrage, especially over the idea that a hooded sweatshirt could be a rationalization for murder. This Saturday, grab your hoodie and join local activists in a rally and march in solidarity with the family of Trayvon Martin.---

Join numerous activist groups including Occupy SLC, United for Social Justice, the Black Students Union and more as they march from Gallivan Plaza. The event will also feature speakers to discuss the persistence of racism in American society in light of the recent controversy over the  the shooting death of unarmed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.
