Dear GYA, I had a horrible birthday. There was a surprise party at my house, my wife sang some dumb French song called "Zou Bisou Bisou" and to make matters worse, she never finished cleaning the carpet. I'm thinking about not going to work today. -Don Draper, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce---

Don, I also hate birthdays. But you have to stop being such a selfish turd. As for taking the day off, I think that's a great idea. You might want to consider heading over to In The Venue/Club Sound to see the Ting Tings. They're known for their hit song "That's Not My Name." On a personal level, I think you would enjoy that track. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are going for $22.

Over on the other side of town, Wiseguy's Comedy in West Valley will be hosting Los Angeles based Garfunkel and Oates. The female comedy duo originally met on the set for Upright Citizen's Brigade and have performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Word is they'll be debuting a new show on HBO later this year. They'll be doing 2 shows tonight, one at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Over at Energy Solutions arena, the Utah Jazz with be taking on the Sacramento Kings. This should be a pretty good game considering Utah's golden son Jimmer Fredette will be present. The only question is, will he actually see any playing time? Tipoff is at 7 p.m. tonight.

Other events worthy of a Friday night:

- Photographer Daniel Everett will be debuting salt: 5 at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts tonight at 7 p.m.

- Local hip-hop emcee Fleetwood will be hosting a CD release party at The Woodshed tonight at 9 p.m.

- Black Dhalia Murder will be thrashing at the Complex tonight at 8 p.m.
