Candidates for Governor to Debate Wednesday

Gov. Gary Herbert will share a stage with his five conservative gubernatorial challengers in a debate in South Jordan, Wednesday morning.---

Hosted by the Republican Women of Utah Valley and the Utah Federation of Republican Women, Herbert will go toe-to-toe and talking -point-to-talking-point with Republican challengers including Utah Tea Party founder David Kirkham, 2010 Jim Matheson challenger Morgan Philpot, state legislator and Patrick Henry Caucus co-founder Ken Sumsion, and dark-horse contenders Lane Ronnow and William Skokos.

This is a good opportunity to find out which candidate has the boldest plans to defeat Obamacare and to see who hates socialism more and who loves the Constitution the most.

Find out Wednesday, from 12 p.m.-1:45 p.m. at Noah’s Event Center, 322 West 11000 South, South Jordan. Tickets to the event are $10 and include lunch and can be purchased here. The event will also be live-streamed by conservative think tank The Sutherland Institute here.
