Local peaceniks will be making some noise for peace Thursday and also standing in solidarity with Private Bradley Manning, who will be in court this week for having leaked information to WikiLeaks including the video of a U.S. helicopter attack that killed several innocent civilians.---

PFC Bradley Manning was arrested in 2010 for leaking classified information and will be in court this week. If you want to help turn up the volume on the public’s awareness of the case, which activists see as a whistleblower being punished for exposing the military’s collateral damage, or if you just want to make noise for peace in our time, then come check out this free event. Signs will be available or you can bring your own.

Check it out, Thursday, April 26, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the northwest corner of 700 E. 2100 South, Salt Lake City
