Everyone gets the blues sometimes, and if you’re an aficionado of the music and want to help those paying their dues, then why not help out the low-income advocates of the Crossroads Urban Center by attending the organization’s Beers, Blues and Brats fundraiser this Sunday.---

The Crossroads-Urban Center, longtime local advocates for Utah’s homeless and low-income populations, is welcoming the warmer weather with a special fundraiser feast this weekend. Tickets are $45 but include brats, veggie burgers, desserts and other tasty fixins.

You can also enjoy some cool beers and the musical stylings of blues band The Soul Benders. Check it out, Sunday, April 29, 2-6 p.m. at the Community Food Co-op 1726 W. 700 South.
