Catching up with CWMA bands: Laserfang, Night Sweats

Broody, electronic indie-dance-rock just might make for two of the best local albums to come out this year.---

I’ve asked each of the 24 bands from the 2012 City Weekly Music Awards to send us a paragraph or so about what they have going on in 2012. Here's what Laserfang (pictured above) and Night Sweats -- comprised of many of the same members -- have to say; short and sweet.

Laserfang:
We've been recording here and there a bit. It may turn into a new release this year. We are playing the Utah Arts Festival this year, and also heading up to Denver with Night Sweats for the Underground Music Showcase festival in July.

We've been working on our first release, and aiming for a summer release. There will be nine or so songs.
