Timon, you stupid little chipmunk, it took me me almost 18 years to get that dumb phrase out my head. But yeah, YOLO sucks. Here's what's happening today:

Local punks will be descending on Kilby Court as Broncho takes the stage tonight. City Weekly music editor Austen Diamond had this to say: "The four-piece band offers up simple, nearly nostalgic punk that has been known to make concert goers go ballistic." Bad Weather California and Heavy Drags are also on the bill. Check 'em out for yourself

Celebrated indie-rockers Here We Go Magic will be performing at Urban Lounge, beginning at 9 p.m. Described as "a stream of consciousness lyrics and swirls of psychedelic, lo-fi noise," the four-piece band has found its stride and its own unique sound with the newest release A Different Ship.

For all you self-described nerds of sci-fi lore, there's the Big Shiny Geek Show Pub Quiz going down tonight at Lucky 13. Winner of the 2012 City Weekly Best of Utah award for pub trivia, this round o' trivia is not for the weak of heart, or brain. The quizzin' starts at 8 p.m.

Other worthwhile events tonight:

- Wasatch Touring offering its free bike maintenance class at 6 p.m.  

- Acoustic singer Will Roney will be performing at Tin Angel Cafe, beginning at 7 p.m.  

- Kasino Karaoke at Piper Down, starting at 9 p.m.
