La Nay/Pizzeria 712 CSA Farm Dinner

Last spring, 35 volunteers from the ranks of Provo/Orem's Heirloom Restaurant Group, which includes Communal, Pizzeria 712 and Mountain West Burrito, descended on La Nay Ferme, --- Provo's newest CSA farm, to plant micro greens, onions, radishes, and more. This Friday, July 13, some of the fruits of that labor will be enjoyed at a farm dinner hosted by La Nay and Taylor Mason, chef and general manager of Orem's Pizzeria 712.

Although Heirloom restaurants have been using La Nay Ferme produce for a while now, Taylor is returning to the home soil to cook up a special meal for a limited number of guests with the literal fruits of his personal labor. Friday's event begins with appetizers at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. Seating is limited and tickets are available for $40 each.

A native of Heber, Taylor worked his way up from dishwasher to chef at Pizzeria 712 in just three years. He counts himself fortunate to "not only cook great food, but to do it with ingredients that directly support farmers in his home community."

La Nay Ferme is located at 4800 N. East Lawn Drive in Provo.
