Glad You Asked: Lotus, Phosphorescent and Matt Costa

Dear GYA, I don't know why everyone is so upset about the UTA's fare increase happening today. Personally, I think people need to take matters into their own hands. For example, if you're unhappy with how much a mega-yacht costs, you don't complain about the price of the mega-yacht -- you go and buy a mega-yacht store! That's what I did. Anything happening today to distract me from all these UTA complainers? - John Englishater, UTA Manager---

John, You're right. If everyone had their own personal UTAs then they wouldn't be complaining about UTA fare increases. Here's what's up for today:

Experimental-rock band Lotus will be at Park City Live tonight. Vibesquad is also on the bill. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $20.

At Urban Lounge, moody indie band Phosphorescent will be onstage. Strand of Oaks will be opening things up. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $14.

For some acoustic-folk action, check out Matt Costa over at Kilby Court. Carly Ritter and The Hollerin' Pines will provide support. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $16.
