We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

Summer plans just got a lot better. Bob Dylan will bring his AmericanaramA Festival of Music, with Wilco and My Morning Jacket, to the Usana Amphitheatre on August 1.---

Concert lineups don't really get any better than this. To get a taste of what Blind Boy Grunt has been playing in concert of late, check out a few setlists here. And if you still have any doubts that the Bard of all Bards is slacking in his old age, give the 2012 release Tempest a spin -- it was surprisingly awesome.

But for as much as I'd love to see Dylan again, I can't help but be more excited for the openers -- however, it's that I wonder that each won't get the two-hour-plus set they deserve. The Wilco show at Red Butte Garden last summer ranked on my Top 5 list of all-time, and My Morning Jacket performing at Twilight Concert Series, despite a subpar setting, was awesome, as well. This is a show not to be missed!

Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 25.
