Dear GYA, You want some real dating advice, bro? Then take it from me, a bro who's been there -- never, ever date a chick who has eyelash decals on her car. Seriously, don't be drawn in by the lusty lashes poking out of the hood of her Dodge Stratus. It's not worth it, bro. Anyway, anything happening today where I can drive my wife's Stratus? - Recardo Derpanio, Cottonwood Heights---

Recardo, This is good advice. I also live by the mantra of never date chicks who love horses. But, that's just me. Here's what's up for today:

To kick off Pride Weekend, check out the 2013 Miss City Weekly Pride Pageant going down at Club Elevate tonight at 10. Myself, Ben Winslow from Fox 13 and a bunch of reality stars will be judging this drag-tastic event. Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 via RSVP

Comedian and YouTube commenter Daniel Tosh will be performing at Abravanel Hall tonight at 7. Jared Carmichael is also on the bill. Tickets start at $59.50.

Indie-gypsy band Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros will be onstage at Red Butte this evening, but that's sold out. So, instead, check out local band Koala Temple at Urban Lounge, beginning at 9. ‘90s Television and Palace of Buddies are also performing. Tickets are $5.
