Dear GYA, At first, I was just mildly excited about the news of a Dunkin' Donuts opening in Salt Lake City, but now that it's announced a new breakfast sandwich with donuts instead of bread, I think I'll completely disregard any negative things I've ever said about diabeetus. Wilford, The new Dunkin' Donuts opens sometime this month, so you're going to have to wait on your doughnut-wich. Here are a few things to keep you occupied until then:
Rock legend Alice Cooper will be onstage at Usana Amphitheater. Marilyn Manson is also on the bill. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 to $80.
Singer/songwriter Jay Nash will be at Urban Lounge this evening. David Ramirez and Matthew Quen Nanes will open things up. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $10.
Local post metal/experimental band Huldra will be onstage at Kilby Court. The show starts at 8 p.m. Mouth of The Architect, Rile and Hypernova Holocaust are also on the bill. Tickets are $6.
