Dear GYA, In case you missed it, last night, this one rapper said he was better than all these other rappers and that the West Coast was better than the East Coast. So, then those other rappers got all mad and now, everyone's else is all, like, "Daaaammnn! Oh, no, he didn't." Anything happening today better than a rap battle? Justin Morrislin, eighth grader ---

Justin, It's prety weird that a rapper would be disrespectful of another rapper. I always thought rappers were courteous to one another. Anyway, here's what's up for today:

Legendary guitarists Kurt Vile & The Violators will be onstage at Urban Lounge this evening. Sonny and The Sunsets are also on the bill. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $15.

The Melvins will be performing at In The Venue tonight with special guest Honky. The all-ages show starts at 7. Tickets are $17.50

Blues guitarist and singer Coco Montoya will be at Pat's Barbecue tonight at 7:30. Tickets are $20.
