If you love sake, you'll want to put in an appearance at Park City's Shabu restaurant tomorrow night. ---

Starting at 6 p.m., August 29, Shabu will be hosting a special sake pairing dinner -- a terrific chance to learn about and enjoy the traditional Japanese rice wine. Should you drink sake hot or cold? Should you drink it with sushi? Come find out at Shabu.

Shabu chef/owner Robert Valaika will be preparing a five-course tasting menu to pair with a variety of specialty imported sakes. (Shabu has one of the best sake selections in the West.)

Sake expert Damon Levy of Vine Connections will also be on hand to answer questions and to discuss sake making and sake traditions. It should shape up to be a sensational sake and sushi social.

The Sake Pairing Dinner at Shabu costs $65 per person, and reservations can be made by calling 435-645-7253.
