Dear GYA, Just a fair warning to everyone out there who enjoys taking full advantage of International Talk Like a Pirate Day:Iif you dress like a pirate, no one will get it. Trust me, I'm sitting here in my cubicle, like an idiot, wearing a full Black Beard outfit, trying to explain to my colleagues what day it is and why I'm dressed like this.--- Anything happening today that embraces Talk Like A Pirate Day? - Capt. Walter Blarmen, Midvale 

Walter, No, But here are some events worth checking out, whether you're dressed like a pirate or not:

Electronica musician Baths will be performing at Urban Lounge tonight. Jerome LOL and Time Wharp are also on the bill. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $14. 

Georgia-based indie-band Yip Deceiver will be onstage at Kilby Court this evening. Golden Sun and Mooninite will warm things up. The show starts at 7. Tickets are $8. 

English rock band Muse will be at Energy Solutions Arena. Cage The Elephant is also performing. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $35.
