This year was a triumph when it came to fantastically awful music videos. There was Kanye's "Bound 2," John Mayer's "Who You Love feat. Katy Perry" and, of course that weird footage of Miley Cyrus licking a wrecking ball. But at the eleventh hour, it seems that a locally produced video from Foxley & Pignanelli (a high-profile law firm for companies like Google, IBM and Comcast) may have topped 2013's list of perfectly balanced musical turds. ---
Uploaded on Dec. 18 and shot entirely at the Utah Capitol, this parody of Yvlis' "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say)," appropriately titled, "What Do Fox & Pig Say?" could very well be this year's greatest achievement in the field of "Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make this?"
This double-down of cringe has everything you're looking for when it comes to lobbyist-created music videos: a rave in the Capitol's basement, a rich lobbyist sitting on a neon throne, chicks clawing at his feet while wearing masks and Spirit Hoods, and ambiguous lyrics like "The secret of those guys, ancient mystery, somewhere deep in the Capitol." Enjoy.
