Dear GYA, Today's ruling legalizing same-sex marriage in Utah is a huge travesty. According to my personal religious beliefs (that everyone should follow), marriage by definition is between a bigoted man and sheltered woman. That's how my personal God intended it to be. If anyone needs me, I'll be collecting millions of tax dollars to fight this in the Supreme Court. Anything happening today now that same-sex marriage is legalized again? - Governor Gary Herbert---

Gary, there's nothing like spending other people's money to uphold your own personal beliefs, is there? Here's what's happening today:

Hardcore punk band Trash Talk will be at Kilby Court this evening. The show is free and starts at 7 p.m.

Former Bauhaus vocalist Peter Murphy will be on stage at The Depot. Ringo Deathstarr is also on the bill. Tickets are $26. The show starts at 8 p.m.

City Weekly's 2014 CWMA DJ of The Year Matty Mo, will be at Willie's Lounge tonight. Admission is free. The music starts at 9:30 p.m.
