Dear GYA, It's been a few weeks now and I think these soccer fans have started to accept me as one of their own. You see, if you want to hangout at a local bar or restaurant during the World Cup, you have to blend in, become one of them, learn their customs, pretend you give a shit about soccer. Hold on,  *drapes USA scarf around neck* "Oh, hey! Yeah! Go white guy with dreads!" You see what I did there? Anything going on today besides the World Cup? - James Freeshner, Salt Lake City---

James, stay strong. Soon this will all be over. Here's what's happening to today:

The Utah Arts Festival kicks off today at noon. Tickets are $12 at the gate, or $8 in advance. $30 weekend passes can also be purchased.

Tonight is the NBA Draft. Will the Jazz pick-up anyone worthy of a Bailey's Moving and Storage commercial? Eh, who knows. But head to the Draft Day Party at Energy Solutions Arena to watch all the action on the jumbo-tron. Admission is free. The doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Country singer Chase Rice will be at The Depot this evening.  Mark Owens is also on the bill. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18.50.
