What’s Aaron McGruder been up to since he hasn’t been working on the final season his own show, The Boondocks? Making a whole new series to piss off Whitey, of course.

Despite the drama surrounding the long-long-delayed Season 4 of The Boondocks, which Adult Swim finally went ahead and just produced without creator McGruder, he’s still in business with the network—and really, who else would air his new project, Black Jesus? Maybe El Rey, but the options end there.

Black Jesus is a live-action series starring Grand Theft Auto voice Lamar Davis, which finds The Lord “living in present day Compton, Ca., on a daily mission to spread love and kindness throughout the neighborhood with the help of his small but loyal group of downtrodden followers.”
