What’s new on the tube tonight:

Marry Me (NBC) Series Debut: Fans of Happy Endings, Burning Love, Wet Hot American Summer, Children's Hospital and all the other comedies Casey Wilson and Ken Marino have starred in are really, really, really going to want to like Marry Me. Unfortunately, their collective manic energy initially overpowers what's supposed to be a sweet li'l rom-com about a couple seemingly doomed to never propose at the right time. Then again, Happy Endings (which was helmed by the same guy behind Marry Me) didn't click right away, so this could still work out ... if it weren't up against New Girl on Fox, that is.

About a Boy (NBC) Season Premiere: A second go-around with an uptight Brit (Minnie Driver), her oddball son (Benjamin Stockham) and their free-spirited playa neighbor (David Walton)? About a Boy was the only new comedy to survive NBC’s 2013-14 season, so don’t count it out yet …

Sons of Anarchy (FX) Or, get off your ass and come to Brewvies Cinema Pub (677 South 200 West, 21+) to watch the latest misadventures of SAMCRO for free on the movie screen with a beer or five at 8 pm, brought to you by City Weekly, True TV and the Charming City Diversity Project.
