Looking for a fun pre-Halloween bash? Here's a good one. 

On Thursday, October 30th at 7:00 PM, Meditrina Small Plates & Wine Bar will host a winemaker dinner featuring Rick Longoria of Longoria Winery. The evening will feature a four-course dinner paired with four Longoria wines. 

The tentative menu and pairings include: 

Poached pear and arugula salad with pistachio vinaigrette + Longoria Pinot Grigio

Wild mushroom risotto cake with carrot nage and basil Chantilly cream + Longoria "Lovely Rita" Pinot Noir

Coffee-rubbed strip steak with celery root puree and butternut squash agrodolce + Longoria Tempranillo

Gold Creek Farms Bleu, fig compote, and burnt Slide Ridge Honey + Longoria Blues Cuvee

The cost for the Longoria winemaker dinner is $40 for food and $30 for wine pairings, per person.
