What’s new on the tube tonight:

Benched (USA) Series Debut: Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings) stars as corporate attorney who loses her shit at the firm and now has to slum it in the Public Defender’s office—alongside fellow cult-comedy favorites Jay Harrington (Better Off Ted), Maria Bamford (Adventure Time) and Oscar Nunez (The Office—OK, not really “cult”). Funny stuff, but USA already has trouble launching comedies in the summer; attempting it against fall network competition is suicide. Check out Benched while you can.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) It may not seem like a big deal after today’s big Marvel movie announcements (seriously, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), but there will be an exclusive scene from Avengers: Age of Ultron premiered during tonight’s S.H.I.E.L.D. episode. So, yeah, there’s that.

Sons of Anarchy (FX) Or, get off your ass and come to Brewvies Cinema Pub (677 South 200 West, 21+) to watch the latest misadventures of SAMCRO for free on the movie screen with a (not free) big-ass beer at 8 p.m., brought to you by City Weekly, True TV and Bobby Elvis’ Ergonomic Eyeball Scoopers.
