The Life in a Day is a monthly video series designed as a creative challenge for Utah skateboarders to produce a video in the span of 24 hours. The ultimate goal is to illustrate an honest portrait of the skater, to capture how they skate, how they think and how they interpret public space and architecture. This month's episode focuses on local skater Levi Faust.
The eighth and last episode of this season features one of Salt Lake City’s gnarliest skaters, Levi Faust. Throughout the years Levi has proved to be one of the most versatile skaters around. From tech ledge tricks, manuals, gaps, rails, to big bowl skating, Faust has it covered. Veteran skate photographer Weston Colton and myself met up at Levi’s house to start the day. Levi wanted to warm up on the mini ramp and show us some new tricks he had been working on. From there we headed into the south end of the valley and cruised around checking for spots and inspiration. Fellow SLC skaters Sam Hubble and Mack Shaarf also joined in.
