Dear GYA, Brewvies is showing Bad Santa tonight and like Die Hard and Home Alone, it is one of the most underrated Christmas movies in existence. It's a story about redemption, the holiday spirit and Billy Bob Thorton dropping f-bombs every 34 seconds. I highly recommend checking out this film. - Mark Noster, Salt Lake City

Mark, it should be noted that Bad Santa was also John Ritter's last film. Love that guy. Here's the details on tonight's show:

For Film Buff Night, Billy Bob Thornton's magnum opus, Bad Santa will be shown at Brewvies for free this evening. The show starts at 10 p.m. Admission is free!

A few other options for this evening:

Tommy Castro & the Painkillers will be at The Egyptian Theatre. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $23-$35 in advance, $28-$40 at the door.

Today is Magic Monday at Hatch Family Chocolates, which means there will be a free magic show and balloons for the kids. The magic starts at 7 p.m.

Over at Kingsbury Hall, Odyssey Dance's The ReduxNut-Cracker will be happening at 7:30 p.m.
