On Monday, August 24th, Avenues Bistro on 3rd will host a wine pairing dinner featuring wine expert Francis Fecteau, owner of Libation, Inc.
The dinner will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 and will feature the following food and wine pairings:
Aperitivo: Gorrotxa Catalonian Goat's Milk Cheese with house-made bread + Matthiason Napa Rose
Antipasto: House-made mozzarella, Avenues Bistro basil & tomatoes, Creminelli pancetta, Olea EVOO and Antica Italia balsamic + Cleto Chiarli (Modena, Italy) Lambrusco di Grasparossa
Primo: Ballard Farm pork medallion with fennel whipped potatoes, braised shallot, red wine & beer gastrique + W.H. Smith Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2012
Dolce: Back Alley Bakery Tart Tatin = Vietti (Cuneo, Italy) Moscato
The price for the dinner is $50 per person and the optional wine pairings are $25 per person.
