What’s new on the tube tonight:

Eureka (Syfy) Season 5 Premiere: It’s the final season for the geniuses (and one dumb sheriff) of Eureka, since the popular dramedy is more expensive to produce than a reality show about kicking Bigfoot in the balls or whatever fantastic programming Syfy has on the horizon to replace it. ---In tonight’s season premiere, the crew of the Titan lands back in Eureka, but it’s four years later—so they missed Obamacare?

Lost Girl (Syfy) Season 2 Premiere: Sure, Season 1 just ended last week, but it’s a Canadian import: They have episodes stockpiled for many winters to come.

Top Gear (BBC America) Season 18 Premiere: That’s right, Season 18. I don’t get it, either.

Richard Hammond’s Crash Course (BBC America) Series Debut: This , however, I do get: Wee fella Richard Hammond drives the world’s most dangerous vehicles and tries to not kill himself, others or various small/large animals. Oh, and he’ll also mingle with local townsfolk during his travels across the U.S. in search of said death machines. If Anthony Bourdain had a penchant for tanks, it might look like Crash Course.

Also new tonight:
Dancing With the Stars, Castle (ABC); How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Two & a Half Men, Mike & Molly (CBS); the Voice, Smash (NBC); Bones, House (Fox); Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie (The CW); Secret Life of the American Teenager, Make It or Break It (ABC Family); Bethanny Ever After (Bravo); The Bad Girls Club (Oxygen); Mama's Boys of the Bronx (TLC); American Pickers, Pawn Stars (History); Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (Travel)
