Dear GYA, Hey, it's your buddy Carl's dad, Jerry. I just got done doing one of those, uh, Ice House bucket challenges...you know, where you sit around all day drinking Ice House from a big-ass bucket? Soooo, Mr. Wolf, you now have 24 hours to drink an entire bucket of Ice Hizzies. Haha, yeah. Anything happening tonight that pairs nicely with a bucket of Ice House? - Jerry McJulles, Sugar House

Jerry, it's called the Ice Bucket Challenge you dumb idiot and there's no beer involved, you just pour cold water on yourself—which is what you should do before you go out tonight. Anyway, here's what's happening:

The Coathangers, an all-girl punk band from Atlanta, will be at Urban Lounge tonight. White Fang and Breakers are set to open. The show starts at 9 p.m. Admission is free!

A healthy portion of garage-rock and psych-rock will be served at Diabolical Records this evening with music from Lenguas Largas, Treasure Fleet and White Night. The show starts at 8 p.m. Admission is free!

Piper Down will be hosting the New Orleans gypsy-rock band the Dirty Bourbon River Show tonight at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free!
