Dear GYA, Back in my day, we didn't have fancy VCRs, TVs and Justin Biebers. All we had for entertainment was the damn radio and the cold harsh reality that winter would devour us all— that is, if we didn't honor the pagan god, Lugh by harvest. If you need me, I'll be churning some butter. - Gretchen Jorles, Salt Lake City

Gretchen, radio is still a viable medium. In fact, you'd love Plan-B's Radio Hour happening tonight. Here's the details:

Over a the Rose Wagner Center, Plan-B Theatre Company's Radio Hour: Grimm is happening this evening. From City Weekly A&E editor Scott Renshaw,
"This year's Radio Hour finds playwright Matthew Ivan Bennett adapting three classic fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm for a perfect dose of macabre Halloween-time entertainment. While "Little Snow-White" and "Rapunzel" may be familiar from Disney and other pop-culture adaptations, the production also presents the lesser-known tale "The Juniper Tree," with its own unique spin on the evil stepmother.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20.
